Read the Notices of Proposed Regulations

Office of Administrative Law logo The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) publishes the California Regulatory Notice Register (Register) every Friday. The Register is the official state publication that contains the Notices of Proposed Actions (Notices) submitted by California state agencies. Each Notice identifies the proposing agency and at least two agency contact persons.

The Notice also summarizes the proposed regulation(s) and their economic and fiscal impacts. Additionally, the Register indicates where and when to submit comments, and whether any public hearing on the proposal is scheduled.

As of July 2000, the Register can be downloaded and viewed on the Internet. An annual subscription to the printed version is available for $302.00. (Single issues are $10.00 each). Select the appropriate link below to view the online Register or to download subscription order forms.
